NA Members
The Human Resource Panel
World Pool |
Greetings from the Human Resource Panel. If you have five or more years
clean, and service experience or skills that could contribute to world
service projects, we would like to invite you to become a member of the
World Pool. It is easy to do, simply complete the attached World Pool
Information Form and return it to us.
Being a member of the World Pool means that you may be considered for
world service trusted servant work. For example, when the World Board
needs members to participate in projects or work groups, or when the HRP
considers nominees for World Service Conference elections, the World
Pool database is searched for people who meet the identified
requirements.
The form is designed so that you can provide information that gives an
accurate and complete description of yourself, including your abilities,
skills and service history. For that reason, it is very important to
commit the time necessary to complete the form thoroughly and
thoughtfully. It is also very important to give thorough consideration
to the references you choose to provide. These individuals might be
contacted and interviewed if you are considered for nomination to an
elected position.
Our hope is that as the World
Pool grows in numbers, there will be more and more qualified NA members
available. With that in mind, we hope you don’t become discouraged if
your name is not drawn from the pool. We
believe that completing
a World Pool Information Form is in itself an act of
selfless service. Also, even if you have
previously submitted one of the older resumes or forms, or you already
are in the World Pool, it is important to complete a WPIF every three
years so that we have the most accurate and up-to-date information.
Thank you for your
willingness to serve the Narcotics Anonymous fellowship.
